Penanggung Jawab Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) RSUP Fatmawati, Teuku Muhammad Zaini, mengungkapkan, kebakaran yang menimpa Yudi Kurniawan (40) dipicu kebocoran gas yang menyambar hubungan pendek arus listrik.
Gas bocor tersebut berasal dari salah satu tabung gas 12 kilogram yang dijual Yudi sehari-hari.
"Dari keterangan Yudi, jadi salah satu tabung gas itu bocor pentilnya, terus menyambar karena ada korsleting listrik akhirnya terjadi ledakan. Jadi bukan karena korek api atau api dari kompor," ujarnya, Selasa (14/9) di IGD RSUP Fatmawati, Jakarta Selatan.
Menurut Zaini, berdasarkan pernyataan Yudi, kejadian tersebut berlangsung pada pukul 02.00 saat istri Yudi, Esty (38), menyadari ada bau gas menyengat. Setelah itu Yudi langsung mengecek tabung gas dan berusaha memperbaikinya.
"Nah, saat dia utak-atik itulah ada korsleting listrik, akhirnya memicu kebakaran. Makanya Yudi ini yang paling parah kondisinya," ujarnya.
Akibat kejadian tersebut, satu rumah yang terdiri dari Yudi (40), Esty (38), dan Esa (9) menjadi korban si jago merah. Yudi mengalami luka bakar paling parah, yakni sampai 45 persen, Esty mengalami luka bakar 31 persen, dan Esa mengalami luka bakar ringan yakni 10 persen.
Setelah kejadian tersebut, ketiga korban langsung dilarikan ke RS Marinir Cilandak, baru kemudian pada pukul 05.00 dirujuk ke RSUP Fatmawati.
Adapun semua korban masih belum berkenan memberikan pernyataan karena masih dalam perawatan. Yudi menjalani perawatan intensif di ruang ICU, sedangkan anak dan istrinya sudah masuk ke ruang perawatan umum. (Kompas.com)
